Honorable ambitions are a great thing, but there don’t seem to be any words that sum up the experience of seeing great ideas come to life. If you can’t think of a time when something this great happened, we have a little secret for you: Muni. Think it over.
Muni PH is a community of socially-conscious thinkers and doers; entrepreneurs that take simple and innovative approaches to solving uniquely Filipino problems. With everything from organic and artisanal food to community-produced clothing, accessories, and lifestyle goods, this gang of like-minded geniuses show that responsible business isn’t just possible, but should be the new norm.
The Muni Market takes all of that good stuff and packs it into Capitol Commons, Pasig this April 8-9. If you’re looking to eat, look, and feel great while supporting local businesses and positive social change, this is definitely THE place to go for the weekend.
With sellers like our very own GMCS Farms, Kayumanggi Organics, Nipa Brew, and Steep Coffee, you could definitely expect a treat for your taste buds. The dry goods section is particularly promising too. Gouache from our trip to Estancia will be there too alongside other shades of local garb and everyday carry.
On top of all this, the Muni Market is also makes for a great place to take in some amazing music and art. Live performances happen at Muni events all the time, and acts as diverse as We Are Imaginary (FKA Your Imaginary Friends), A Problem Like Maria, Six The Northstar (also of Shadow Moses), and Humanfolk to name a few.
This Saturday and Sunday, don’t just think. Muni.
