Cooking From The Heart

Yaya Lola began as a simple way of showing love for a longtime nanny who has been employed with the Guidotti family for over 50 years. The treasured and well-loved Yaya Rosie helped raise 6 kids, and eventually became the house cook. Everyone who ate in their house would constantly rave about how yummy the food was, prompting the youngest daughter Katrina, to start the company in her legacy, naming it Yaya Lola since all the apos lovingly call her that. Katrina also has an affinity for cooking, having studied culinary arts in De La Salle University – College of St. Benilde.

The company began in 2016 after Katrina began offering all the family favorites to clients. Dishes like callos, paella, baked spaghetti and garlic parmesan chicken wings, just to name a few, were some of the more popular choices, and things just grew from there. Katrina also saw the need for healthier food options because of her own two daughters, prompting her to start her own “hidden veggie” frozen food line.

More than just a business, it’s Katrina’s passion to provide her clients with the chance to add easy, healthy, and better nutritional value to every single meal of the day. She understands the importance of getting proper nourishment in her own kids’ bellies, and wants to help other moms do the same for theirs.
