Jeffrey's Taste was named after my husband who is a real foodie and does all the cooking in our home.
We started this a week after ECQ was announced. We live in a condo and we noticed that the people from our condo viber community started selling home-cooked food. So we thought why not start selling hummus in a jar. To our surprise people started ordering from us. And then we created an Instagram account and tapped a new market and surprisingly got even more customers. Then my husband thought of selling his adobo flakes which family and friends love. So we sold them in jars as well. That became an overnight success. Then we thought of including our best-selling salted egg sauce back when we had a restaurant Kwentong Bagnet. We put the sauce in jars and that again became an overnight success. People started ordering and re-ordering and re-ordering. Then we came up with Jeffrey’s. fixed the packaging and put more time into setting up the business. We recently just launched our Frozen Vigan Longganisa and so far we have been getting good feedback.
Our two-man team as husband and wife. Couples usually argue when they go into business together, but with our partnership it makes doing business more fun. We also compliment each other in a way that my husband is the one more focused on food while I do the business side of Jeffreys Taste.
