Go BLACK is the home of Activated Charcoal (AC) detox. Because AC was and still is a novelty in the local market, and is color black, we needed a catchy name that would spark more curiosity. I like the name because there’s a call for action: “Go” and “Black” of course represents AC which is what our brand champions.
In this hectic world we live in, we wanted to be healthier but didn’t have the time to work out or cook healthy meals most of time. We struggled with wellness which is why we saw the opportunity with this detox which was trending in the US and some parts of Europe but had not yet entered the PH market. GO BLACK makes detox fun and easy so now everyone has the opportunity to get to a healthier place.
We are the first local brand to solely champion activate charcoal. It took a lot of educating as the idea of AC was and still is novelty to the local market. They still think it’s ‘uling” and are afraid to try it because it’s color black. But we continue to promote our advocacy so we can help more people suffering from gut issues. We feel it would be an injustice not to share all the amazing benefits of AC with the public, especially those seeking relief.
